Bite Mark Regular is a typeface inspired by Giambattista Bodoni’s iconic Bodoni typeface.
It embodies Bodoni’s distinctive skeletal structure while incorporating a unique, contemporary twist of my own.
This fast-paced project was developed during a two-day type design workshop with Rainer Scheichelbauer and
Matteo Bologna, hosted by Type Tonight NYC. While learning Glyphs 4 within a limited timeframe, I aimed to
create a typeface that felt visually engaging, elegant, and functional. Drawing inspiration from Bodoni’s work,
as well as my fascination with shapes and patterns, I developed a typeface that reflects my own personality and
visual style.
This is a work in progress, with plans to continue refining and expanding the typeface to include lowercase
letters, punctuation, and numerals. I look forward to further developing Bite Mark Regular into a complete
typeface that can be used across a variety of design contexts.
